• Migrated the iOS PDF document viewer to use the Foxit SDK instead of PSPDFKit which helped us save 3 times the annual contract costs.

• Managed onboarding process of two new engineers in our team. Provided hands-on support with initial setups, whiteboarding sessions and pair programming.

Software Engineer III (Nov 2017 - Mar 2020)

• Researched, architected and developed the next-gen cross platform mobile web app. It is a Vue.js single page application running on native iOS/Android platforms

• Developed “FactSet Drive” application to help clients read research news offline and to sync it across different FactSet platforms.

• Implemented Android Keystore system for securely storing client sensitive key-value data on the device.

Software Engineer II (Feb 2016 - Nov 2017)

• Worked extensively with product developers to make our app compatible with iOS 10 release. Fixed bugs and improved various user workflows.

• Revamped macOS “FactSet Launcher” app to make it maintainable for newer iOS releases. Used Xcode Command Line Tools to launch our app on various simulators.

• Integrated “StreetAccount” news on the iOS app home screen to help clients quickly access daily market synopsis and top stories.

• Improved iOS application startup time from 8.4 seconds to 4.1 seconds by lazy loading various components and workflows.

• Optimized the usage tracking setup 27% faster by replacing Core Data with in- memory storage for persisting usage logs.
